As a Consultant will have the following responsibilities: ensure individual contributions are aligned with client needs and consistent with overall engagement objectives; understand and consistently meets client expectations within scope of engagement role by responding promptly and professionally to their inquiries; apply methods or recognized equivalent as appropriate to meet the specific needs of the client and engagement demands; conduct situation analysis through client interviews and documents research to determine the business strengths and weaknesses to identify preliminary engagement priorities.
As a Consultant will have the following responsibilities: ensure individual contributions are aligned with client needs and consistent with overall engagement objectives; understand and consistently meets client expectations within scope of engagement role by responding promptly and professionally to their inquiries; apply methods or recognized equivalent as appropriate to meet the specific needs of the client and engagement demands; conduct situation analysis through client interviews and documents research to determine the business strengths and weaknesses to identify preliminary engagement priorities. This position will also develop technology solutions as follows by using recognized methods to deliver work products, in at least three of the following areas of an engagement lifecycle: Analysis, Design, Construction or Integration Testing; System Testing; Implementation, Support and Maintenance. They also must identify specific business issues and their process implications by applying detailed knowledge of processes and their relationships with other business functions; synthesize findings of research and drafts the significant process improvement recommendations; evaluate current state of the client and recommends strategic change components allowing for impact and interaction factors of the components; draft competitive advantage and achievable value to the client through use of the strategic change components. In the area of Project Management Capability, they must manage the delivery of at least two stages of the service delivery lifecycle using the assigned methodology; identify and assess risks and participate in developing mitigation strategies; escalate significant issues to appropriate engagement management; contribute to the development of a project plan for team or sub-engagement; raise scope change concerns to management based on the contractual terms of the engagement. They will also utilize industry knowledge as follows: apply detailed knowledge of a distinct expertise area to produce work products; develop and present recommendations and alternatives to the client by leveraging technical or functional knowledge or prior experience in the chosen business area; use expertise to integrate findings from research and develop alternative solutions; present alternatives and recommendations to client or team; proactively develop additional knowledge applicable to the area of expertise. May have matrix management responsibilities for resources on a project.

Master’s degree in Information Systems or related field. Must have experience in requirements gathering from users and documenting user requirements, conducting qualitative data analysis. Must have strong skills in professional writing, system design and development. Must be capable of project management and be able to communicate and write well, deal with clients and participate in business requirement gathering process. Must have strong capabilities in database administration and quantitative analysis. Must have experience in at least three of the following areas: SAP Billing for Energy Utilities; Oracle Customer Care and Billing for Energy Utilities; Oracle Distribution Management System for Energy Utilities; IBM Maximo for Energy Utilities; Customer / 1 for Energy Utilities; GE Smallworld. Must be available to travel up to 100% of time to client locations, but can reside anywhere in the U.S. Apply Now
